Coast Harmony Spring Fundraising Concert for Ayrshire Hospice

Coast Harmony Spring Fundraising Concert for Ayrshire Hospice

Coast Harmony are excited to bring you our Spring Concert to raise money for the Ayrshire Hospice!

Join us for an afternoon of songs ranging from the ’60s to the present day, all celebrating love in its many forms: from the romantic to the devotional to the platonic.

We are delighted to be joined by the fantastic Common Thyme who have a great toe-tapping set lined up for you. You can enjoy a preview of their playing here.

Who we are

COAST HARMONY are a fun, all-female ensemble, singing harmony arrangements of golden oldies, rock & pop classics, gospel and folk – often a cappella.

You can hear some clips on our Facebook page: .

For all that we’re small, we deliver a big sound. We’re proud to be led by lifelong professional musician Aimee Penman, who’s performed and recorded with the likes of Laura Mvula, Charlotte Church, Imogen Heap and Benny Gallagher. As well as directing Coast Harmony, Aimee writes some of our most ambitious and beautiful arrangements.

COMMON THYME’s fiddles, banjo, bouzouki and bass blend into a compelling, vibrant sound. Passionate about performing, these four players bring a wealth of experience from all walks of musical life. It makes for an interesting and wide-ranging repertoire spanning folk, classical, traditional Scottish reels and airs, jazz and more. We defy you to resist stomping your feet!

The thick, textured brushstrokes give a sense of movement and energy to the water. In the background, a misty landmass or rocky formation emerges from the sea, partially obscured by the atmospheric haze. The sky is overcast with a mix of light gray and white tones, blending seamlessly into the distant horizon. The painting has an impressionistic style, emphasizing the raw power and beauty of the ocean.
