Alloway Railway Tunnel Mural

Want to get involved in painting part of the Alloway Railway Tunnel mural?

Mural artist Chris Rutterford will be creating a spectacular new depiction of Tam o’ Shanter overlooking the Brig o’ Doon.

It’s going to be an amazing collaboration between our artist and the community, with artwork produced in mural factory workshops in the Cutty Sark Centre in Ayr between 18th – 29th September 2024.

To join us and paint alongside our artist, follow us on the Alloway Railway Tunnel Facebook where booking information will be available from August onwards.

An illustration of Tiny Tam, a cute cartoon mouse, on a sandy beach with the ocean and a sailboat in the background. Tiny Tam is wearing yellow sunglasses, a blue-striped beanie with a pompom, and orange shorts. He has a pink flamingo-shaped inflatable ring around his body. To the left, a colourful beach ball rests on the sand. Behind him, a large postcard with a red and blue border reads "Wish you were here!" in a playful font, with a stamp in the top right corner that features a tiny mouse illustration.
