Adventures in Historic Ayr: A Conversation on Local Heritage at Carnegie Library is a Book Week Scotland event.

Join us on a fascinating historical adventure with local author Carolyn O’Hara, who has recently unearthed a precious family scrapbook from the 1890s. 

Discover the captivating world of Victorian Ayr through the eyes of Carolyn’s great-grandfather, the enigmatic writer known as Oculeus. Carolyn will lead us on a journey through time, unraveling the past, and exploring the hidden gems of Ayr’s history.
