Myths & Legends Workshop with ZOOLAB

Myths & Legends Workshop

This Halloween, step into the shadows with us as we unearth the strangest and spookiest animal myths from across the globe—legends that might just unlock ancient secrets, long buried and best forgotten…

See the world through the eyes of creatures both real and imagined—from the petrifying glare of Medusa to the monstrous depths of the Leviathan. Journey from the cursed temples of Ancient Greece to the haunted alleyways of modern urban legends in a spine-tingling workshop that blends myth, mystery, and the macabre.

This exciting educational event with Zoolab offers children the chance to get hands-on with 5–7 spooky, creepy crawlies through engaging activities and close-up encounters with real animals. Children will sharpen their observation skills while exploring the history of myths and legends, and their fascinating links to the animal kingdom. The interactive session encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and a deeper appreciation for the diversity of life.

**The 1.30pm session will be an ASN-friendly session.
Plus—our free Halloween Craft Workshops will be running from 11am–3pm on the same day!

Refunds will only be offered in the event of cancellation by Robert Burns Birthplace Museum. Robert Burns Birthplace Museum.
