Halloween at Rozelle: Tam o’ Shanter Experience

Halloween at Rozelle: Tam o’ Shanter Experience

Fancy some spooky Halloween activities this Autumn? The Tam o’ Shanter experience at Rozelle House is back for its second year! Come along and see the famous poem by Robert Burns, brought to life. Featuring Alexander Goudie’s paintings of the tale of Tam o’ Shanter – we invite you to visit the galleries and see them transformed into the spooky settings of this fantastical tale and take a walk in Tam’s shoes!

You’ll wander through the market scene, stumble upon the graveyard and then possibly have to make a quick exit and cross the Brig o’ Doom, before the ghouls at Alloway Kirk get hold of you. Entry is free if you are brave enough!

New for this Year! A trail for all ages between Rozelle and Robert Burns Birthplace Museum, with 12 well-kent characters from Tam o’ Shanter (£3 per trail).

Entry is free | Suitable for all ages

Opening Hours
Monday to Saturday: 10am – 5pm

There will also be FUN, FREE and family friendly self-led Halloween crafts for all to enjoy, if you dare! The Halloween engagement space is a nice spot to hide if the main Rozelle experience is too scary for our younger gallery guests. Try colouring a pumpkin and make your own Tam o‘ Shanter bunnet. Fun, Halloween themed, and safe from too much spooky activity – for all the family to enjoy.
