A Night of World Jazz

Nossa Bossa is the acoustic project of Scottish singer Angela Higney and Italian guitarist Pete Parisetti. Their songs have featured on over 200,000 CDs worldwide, and the duo has played more than 1,500 shows across Europe, the US, the Philippines, and even Tajikistan. Their music celebrates Brazilian traditions, blending Bossa Nova with Brazilian Popular Music, jazz, funk, and R&B. peterparisetti.com

Veronneau perform a multilingual mix of world-jazz originals and classics in English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese. Led by Quebecoise vocalist Lynn Veronneau and British guitarist Ken Avis, they’ve released five charting albums and earned over a million Spotify streams with their version of La Mer. After a 2024 tour through Portugal, Spain, France, and Switzerland, they head to Canada, Sweden, the UK, and the US in 2025, with past appearances at The Kennedy Center, Washington DC Jazz Festival, and Blues Alley. The two couples’ friendship spans nearly 30 years, dating back to Angela and Lynn’s appearance in the very first photo ever posted on the World Wide Web. They reunited in front of 10,000 fans with Les Horribles Cernettes—the band that made them famous—and again for Angela and Pete’s US mini-tour in April. Now, all four come together for a series of intimate UK performances.
