Narture Rise Festival

Narture Rise Festival

This September, Narture will host the first RISE Festival – a vibrant programme of food, arts, and wellbeing running from 26th to 28th September 2025.

The festival celebrates five years of Narture’s work in Ayr – a journey that began during the pandemic. Starting with small-scale arts pop-ups, bread baking, and community events, the team has grown steadily over the years and brought several long-empty, historically significant spaces back into use. Today, these buildings thrive as a café, sourdough bakery, artist studios, workshops, a wellbeing studio, and a venue for gigs and creative gatherings.

RISE looks both forward and back – revisiting our beginnings through a retrospective exhibition and reconnecting with the many people who have been part of the journey. A highlight will be the return of the iconic Paper Cave installation by local artist Laura McGlinchey at MAKE, a fully immersive experience crafted entirely from recycled materials.

Across Narture’s venues, festival-goers can explore workshops, exhibitions, gigs, skill-sharing sessions, and interactive installations – all designed to connect people, spark ideas, and celebrate Ayr’s cultural life, deeply rooted in community and history.

Founded by artist family duo Saskia and Robert Singer, Narture CIC blends creativity, food, and regeneration, investing in both people and place. RISE reflects this ethos, inviting everyone to connect, create, and rise together.
