Join us for the Unbekent Residency Project, a series of talks and artist workshops held in the Make studio space, where you can observe the development of our research and art-making. This project is supported by Narture, an organization dedicated to fostering creativity, critical thinking, and promoting inclusion and community cohesion within Ayr. Narture is committed to using all surplus profits to make creative activities accessible to everyone.
Artists Stuart Murphy and Rebecca Scott will use the Make studio as the base for their Unbekent project for six weeks. The project focuses on working class and underclass history, persecuted individuals and lesser known Ayrshire history in general. All events are offered on a sliding-scale basis to make participation more accessible.
We will have several events throughout the project and these can be booked via Eventbrite. You can find out more information via the Narture website or by contacting [email protected]
