Lady Hunter Blair’s Walk: This trail is approximately 4 km (2.5 miles) long and takes visitors through the grounds of the former Castle of Knockdon, which was owned by the Hunter Blair family. The Church Walk: This trail is approximately 2 km (1.25 miles) long and takes visitors on a leisurely walk through the countryside surrounding the village of Straiton. The trail offers views of the River Girvan and the surrounding hills, and features a stop at the historic Kirkmichael church. The trail is well maintained and suitable for people of all ages and abilities.
