Horse Riding at Turnberry

Create lasting memories in the fresh Scottish air with horse riding at Trump Turnberry. Gallop down Turnberry’s very own beach, taking in the incredible surroundings of the Irish Sea, Ailsa Craig and beyond, or enjoy a trek around the beautiful Turnberry resort. Children can also enjoy our ‘Own a Pony Experience’ by taking part in grooming, saddling and riding our charming ponies at Turnberry Stables.

Cost

Beach rides for 90 minutes, £75.00 per person.
Estate Trek through the woods, 60 minutes £50.00 per person.
Lead rein session, 30 minutes, from 5yrs, £35.00 per person.
Own a pony experience, including catch, groom, saddle & ride, 60 minutes, from 5yrs,  £45.00 per person.
Take advantage of our special rate for a family of four, priced at £200.00 for a beach ride and £150.00 for an estate trek.

Available 7 days a week at 10am, 12pm and 2pm*
Horse and Carriage Rides

Carriage rides for 45 minutes, £150.00 for up to four people.
Saturday Morning Carriage ride from 10am – 11.30am, £15 per person for up to four people.

Terms and Conditions

Bookings must be made at least one day in advance.
Bookings cannot be confirmed without guest’s height, weight & experience.
We reserve the right to cancel beach rides if the weather is not suitable.
Depending on severity we would offer Estate Trek.
If a group has mixed experienced, the ride is considered as a novice trek.
Please advise level at the time of reservation.
If we discover during a beach ride that the guest does not have the adequate experience, then a lead rein will be used.
Body protection, riding hat & boots will be provided.
Beach ride: Riders must be at an intermediate or advanced level and capable of controlling their horse at all paces unaided.
Ability will be assessed on arrival at the Stables. Age 14+, 90 minutes.
Estate trek from 7yrs, no experience required, 60 minutes.
Leid Rein from 5 yrs, no experience required, 30 minutes.
Own a pony from 5 yrs, 60 minutes.
