A quirky, dog-friendly cottage in the hamlet of Heronsford, Tig Cottage sleeps four in rural bliss, deep in the heart of the UNESCO Galloway and Southern Ayrshire Biosphere.

It is the perfect place for you to retreat, relax, reset and revive yourself!

You can sit surrounded by trees, listening to birdsong and our burbling river, simply taking time for you. And when you’ve relaxed enough, it’s the perfect base to explore the mysterious rugged coastline, rolling hills and historic homes and castles of Ayrshire and the Scottish Southern Uploads.

At night, you can experience the true majesty of the galaxy under our Dark Skies, while endangered pipistrelle bats swoop and soar in the skies overhead.
