Awake – A Concert by The Wordsworth Singers
The Cumbrian chamber choir, The Wordsworth Singers, comes to Ayr with their new Director of Music, Andy McTaggart (also Director of Ayr Choral Union), presenting an all-American programme. This mesmerising mix spans the jazz rhythms of Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms to the calm and meditative soundscapes of Philip Glass, Morten Lauridsen, and other American composers. They will be accompanied by pianist Dida Condria.
