Opening Day this year was full of excitement, now lets look forward to next year, its going to be bigger and better than ever!

Ayr Gold Cup Festival kicks off on Thursday 18th SeptemberThe three day Festival comes under starter’s orders with a fantastic day of top quality racing and entertainment.

The opening day highlight is 1m 2f Handicap for the Kilkerran Cup one of the longest standing trophies at the track.

Plus enjoy live entertainment for three hours after the last race.

Ayr Gold Cup Festival kicks off on Opening Day, Thursday 19th September, with the Kilkerran Cup headlining the days racing.

Then Friday 20th is full of glamour on Ladies Day, featuring our sensational Style Awards as well as amazing racing including the Ayr Bronze Cup, the British EBF Stallions Harry Rosebery Stakes and the Arran Scottish Sprint EBF Fillies’ Stakes.

But the highlight of it all is the Ayr Gold Cup on Saturday 21st, one of the most valuable sprint handicaps in Europe. Last year’s race was won by Significantly, trained by Julie Camacho and ridden by jockey Joe Fanning. Saturday also features the Ayr Silver Cup, the Firth of Clyde Stakes (Group Race) and the Doonside Cup (Listed Race).
