Humperdinck’s Hansel & Gretel is a timeless family favourite, telling the story of two children lost in a darkening forest who must rely on courage, determination, and quick thinking to outsmart a wicked witch.

Part of Scottish Opera’s popular Opera On Your Doorstep touring programme, this beautifully crafted five-singer production is directed by Lucy Bradley, designed by Janis Hart, and accompanied by an intimate piano arrangement that places the focus firmly on the magic of the storytelling.

Featuring an exciting cast that includes many current and former Scottish Opera Emerging Artists, alongside a local children’s chorus, this charming production brings the much-loved fairy tale vividly to life.
