Travelling to the Ayr Show

How to get to The International Ayr Show - Festival of Flight

This free event is held at the Low Green, on Ayr’s shorefront. Ayr is well served by public transport links, cycle paths and walking routes.  Event parking will also be available in several locations, and we would recommend that you book this in advance.

By Walking

Are you staying locally? If you stay within two miles of the Low Green and can do so, why not walk to the event?

The Low Green is easily accessible from the esplanade or the town centre.

By Bike

You can cycle to the event, and we will have a bike parking facility. Please bring anything you require to secure your bike such as an appropriate lock. Bikes are left at your own risk.

By Car

If you are travelling by car, you must pre-book parking at one of our event car parks to ensure your space and avoid disappointment.

You can view a range of parking options at destinationsouthayrshire.co.uk/ayrshow/ayr-show-parking/

There will be traffic management measures and parking restrictions in place during the Ayr Show.  You can find a full list of these at tellmescotland

IMPORTANT: Do not park in any restricted area. If you do leave your vehicle in a restricted area, it may be towed and the owner required to pay a £200 fine to retrieve it.
