Parking FAQs

TOWED CARS: It’s extremely important that you do not park in any restricted area. Vehicles left in restricted areas may be towed, and the owner will be required to pay a £200 fine to retrieve it.

Blue Badge Parking and Accessible Viewing

Yes. There is a designated blue badge car park at Blackburn Car Park, Seafield Road, Ayr, KA7 2XW. There will be over 400 free car parking spaces available, and there is no need to book in advance, parking is allocated on a first come, first served basis.

This will be a secure car park, and our security team will be checking Blue Badges on arrival.

You may choose to watch the display from within your car, however, please note Blue Badge parking bays are provided for the purpose of parking vehicles only. They are not intended to be used as waiting, dwelling, or sitting areas.  For the safety and comfort of all visitors, fires, barbecues, awnings, tables, chairs and other camping equipment are strictly prohibited in all car parks. Please keep your allocated parking space clear and follow all instructions from event staff.

To ensure the car park remains safe and accessible any person found congregating in the area will be asked to leave by our security team. We appreciate your cooperation and consideration for other Blue Badge users.

There will be two accessible viewing areas at either end of the promenade which will have seating. This is also allocated on a first come, first served basis.

PLEASE NOTE
– all vehicles must be removed from the car parks at the end of the event, no overnight parking is permitted, and no security will be present once the car parks have closed.

Blue Badge Parking at Blackburn is free with a valid Blue Badge.

How do I book parking?

You can book your parking by following the button link below.

Yes, if spaces are still available. Please note there is a surcharge to all parking booked on the day of the event. To avoid delays on arrival, please book same-day parking online before heading to the event.

This applies to all car parks and both event days.

No, the car parks will operate Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR), so you do not need to bring your confirmation. Your vehicle’s registration will be automatically scanned upon arrival, so you’ll need to provide the number plate of the vehicle you intend to bring on the day when pre-booking your parking.

All parking locations have walking routes to the festival. However, to help you get to the festival with ease, Stagecoach will operate a park and ride shuttle service from Ayr Racecourse and Rozelle Estate.

Seafield Car Park and Blackburn (Blue badge holders only) are park and walk.

The shuttle service will operate every 5-10 minutes between the following dates and times.

Ayr Racecourse:

  • Friday 4 September: 3.45pm – 10pm
  • Saturday 5 September: 10.15am – 8pm


Rozelle Estate:

  • Saturday 5 September: 10.15am – 8pm

If you park at Rozelle Estate, your drop off and pick up location will be Racecourse View.

If you park at Ayr Racecourse, your drop off and pick up location will be the junction of Charlotte Street/Esplanade.

Yes. Stagecoach will operate a fleet with low floor, easy access buses which can carry a limited number of wheelchairs, approved mobility scooters and unfolded buggies.

Yes. There will be a toilet area at each car park consisting of Portaloo single cubicles and an accessible cubicle.

Motorbikes

Yes.  Motorbike parking is available at the Seafield and Rozelle Estate car parks.

Please note, there is NO motorbike parking available at Ayr Racecourse or Blackburn Drive car parks.

Motorhomes

Yes, motorhome parking is available at the Seafield car park.

Please note, there are no facilities available for motorhomes such as power, chemical toilets etc, and they cannot be parked overnight in any of the car parks. If you are attending both event days, you will be required to purchase parking for each event day.

Please note, there is NO motorhome parking available at Rozelle Estate, Ayr Racecourse or Blackburn Drive car parks.

Car Park Ground Conditions

Please be aware that the parking area is mainly grass and may consist of uneven ground conditions. Vehicles are parked at your own risk. We recommend using caution when entering and exiting the area, particularly in adverse weather.

Coaches

Yes. Limited coach parking will be available at Riverside Sports Arena, Ayr KA8 0SZ. Please follow the button link below to pre-book your coach parking. Spaces will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability. Coach driver must display the parking confirmation upon arrival at the venue.

Please note that this parking facility is strictly for coaches. Any non-coach vehicles booked in error will be denied access, and refunds will not be provided.

Cancellation Policy

In booking a ticket, you are reserving a car park space. Reservations and tickets bought for this event are final. Once a purchase is made, bookings cannot be cancelled, refunded, or exchanged under any circumstances.

In the unlikely event of a change in date, time, or venue, your ticket will remain valid for the rescheduled event. We will notify you of any changes as soon as possible.

When booking, you will be asked to provide your vehicle registration number. This is because the car parks operate automatic vehicle number plate recognition, which improves the flow of traffic into the car parks.  Bookings are non-transferable. You will receive a confirmation email when your booking is complete.
