Immerse yourself in a soothing evening of Indian classical music reimagined through the lens of modern jazz, blues and world traditions. Featuring the bold, enchanting strokes of the sarod alongside rich vocal accompaniment, this performance creates a meditative yet dynamic soundscape.
UK touring artist Mayukh brings his expressive sarod playing to Ayr for the very first time, following acclaimed performances in London, Glasgow and Edinburgh. Joining him is celebrated Indian vocalist Shruti Gupta, making her UK debut.

We are excited to begin our biggest project yet: The Auld Toy Shop – A Place for Play, Ideas & Collective Imagination.
Supported by Creative Scotland’s Culture Collective programme, this year-long initiative will transform a much-loved former toy shop into a living space for creativity, connection and community-led change. Through workshops, exhibitions, shared meals, artist residencies and creative conversations, local people will collectively explore what Ayr needs to thrive creatively while shaping the building’s future.
Alongside the programme, we are developing partnerships to restore the historic building permanently, creating a lasting cultural hub that supports regeneration, wellbeing, creativity and community for generations to come.
