Opening Day in 2025 was packed with excitement — and now the countdown begins for 2026, which promises to be bigger and better than ever.
The three-day Festival gets underway with a thrilling Opening Day featuring top-class racing alongside great entertainment.
The standout race of the day is the 1m 2f Handicap for the Kilkerran Cup, one of the longest-standing trophies at the track. The 2025 renewal was won by George Boughey’s Shadwell Stud-owned El Burhan, with the 2024 winner Financer finishing fifth.
After the racing action, keep the celebrations going with three hours of live entertainment following the last race.
