Weekly Club Rides

Saturday mornings – The club meets every Saturday morning at 9.30am for a weekly road ride.  On the first Saturday and the second last Saturday of each month, the meeting point is Monkton Cross. All other Saturdays, they meet at the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum, Murdoch’s Lone, Alloway.  Duration is typically 2/3hrs at a social conversational pace.  The route changes depending on weather and wind conditions, and typically finishes with a visit to a cafe on return!

Sunday mornings – A group meets at the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum at 9.30am. Length and duration of the Sunday rides vary dependant on the time of year and the weather. In summer, these can last 4/5 hours and cover 50/60 miles. They can also be as simple as a spin to Kirkmichael Community Shop & Cafe for coffee and cake.

Tuesday and Thursday mornings – A group meets at the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum at 9.30am, usually to go round either the Pennyglen or Martnaham loops, followed by a coffee and scone.
