Starting at The Cutty Sark Centre, this Town Centre Tour celebrates three remarkable men born within a decade of each other who, in their own spheres, changed the world for the better:

  • Robert Burns: Scotland’s beloved bard
  • John Macadam: The pioneer of modern road construction
  • William McClure: The father of American Geology

Hear their stories, coupled with many other fascinating tales of Ayr and its people. Discover the vibrant history of our town centre and the individuals who shaped its destiny.
