The Last of the Shark Hunters and other yarns at Girvan Library is a Book Week Scotland event.
Local author Howard McCrindle will discuss his popular book The Last Shark Hunter and Other Yarns, looking at his memories as a West Coast shark fisherman and his traditional fishing techniques, which led to him becoming the most controversial fisherman in the United Kingdom.
Howard will also elaborate on his much anticipated second publication, an event not to be missed!
