Named after the bridge in Islamic eschatology, this poignant drama follows a family navigating the precarious bridge between their heritage and a modernising world. A father and son search for a daughter who has been missing for five months after last being seen at a dance festival in the Moroccan desert. Set against a backdrop of breathtaking landscapes and underground raves, the narrative weaves together personal sacrifice and spiritual searching. As tensions rise between tradition and progress, the characters must decide what to carry across and what to leave behind in their quest for a meaningful future.
