TCV (The Conservation Volunteers) and Carnegie Library are hosting a series of four fun, hands-on sessions for families who want to explore and connect with Ayr’s local nature and biodiversity.
Thanks to funding from the Ayrshire Climate Hub, these engaging outdoor sessions will help families discover more about the natural world on their doorstep.

Each session focuses on a different theme:

🐞 Bugs
🐦 Birds

Meet at: Carnegie Library, 12 Main Street, Ayr, KA8 8EB
Please meet in the entrance hall by 10.30am. We can wait a maximum of 5 minutes for latecomers, after which we will leave to walk to the activity area.

Suitable for families and all ages
Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult

What to wear
Please dress for the weather. We’ll be outdoors and may walk through muddy areas, so wear suitable clothing and sturdy footwear.
