When Aymeric reconnects with former colleague Florence, who is six months pregnant and facing parenthood alone, an unexpected family begins to take shape. Aymeric helps raise her son, Jim, for seven years, forging a deep paternal bond. But when Jim’s biological father suddenly re-enters their lives, long-buried tensions and difficult questions about family, love and belonging come to the surface.
Directed by the Larrieu brothers, Jim’s Story unfolds between Lyon and the Jura town of Saint-Claude, blending warmth, humour and emotional depth in a touching portrait of contemporary family life.
