The McKechnie Institute will be displaying the history of potato farming of the renowned ‘Ayrshire tattie’. This display will be on in the Billiard room from the 9th – 19th June 2026, as part of the Girvan Tattie Fest.

There will be further events on the main festival day, 13th June 2026. Keep your eyes peeled for more information on the GoGirvan website and on their Facebook page.
