A powerful re-enactment of the final hours of Jesus of Nazareth, staged in the heart of Ayr. In a fresh take on the traditional medieval mystery play, the age-old story will be brought to life by the town’s Trinity Players during the run-up to Easter.
The one-hour Ayr Passion Play takes place on Wednesday 1st April at 7pm in the atmospheric setting of Ayr’s Holy Trinity Church (behind the Gaiety Theatre). Scripted and directed by Katie Lambert, it features haunting live music throughout from Trinity Arts musicians.
Donations welcome at the door (cards accepted).
