Ayr & District Flower Show

Ayr & District Flower Show

A much-loved fixture in the Ayrshire calendar for many years, The Ayr & District Flower Show was established in 2017 to keep the event running for the public and is the only flower show running in Ayr.

Set up as a Flower Show that is based around horticulture and focusing on the plants and traders, the A&DFS gives everyone a chance to show off a variety of works to the general public in the hope of taking home one of our keepsake prizes for best on the class.

Held at Ayr Racecourse, there is a variety of thing’s to see under the roof of the Ayrshire Suite and surrounding marquee’s that feature different craft and traders for everyone to see. More than just flowers on display. There is also a variety of entertainment on offer over the two days of the show ranging from Scottish dance to 50’s/60’s/blues music, and much more

Wish You Were Here: Postcards from South Ayrshire

An illustration of Tiny Tam, a cute cartoon mouse, on a sandy beach with the ocean and a sailboat in the background. Tiny Tam is wearing yellow sunglasses, a blue-striped beanie with a pompom, and orange shorts. He has a pink flamingo-shaped inflatable ring around his body. To the left, a colourful beach ball rests on the sand. Behind him, a large postcard with a red and blue border reads "Wish you were here!" in a playful font, with a stamp in the top right corner that features a tiny mouse illustration. The scene has a bright and cheerful summer vibe.
