2026 Summer of Sport:

What to Expect

Across South Ayrshire, you’ll find a variety of exciting opportunities, including:

  • Fun, inclusive sports sessions
  • Activities for all ages and abilities
  • Local opportunities run with ClubReady clubs
  • A welcoming environment to build confidence, skills and friendships

Whether you’re trying a sport for the first time or looking to stay active over the summer, there’s something for everyone.

Why Get Involved?

The 2026 Summer of Sport is inspired by major global events including the FIFA World Cup 2026 and the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, bringing the excitement of sport directly into local communities.

Our aim is to:

  • Make sport more accessible and inclusive
  • Remove barriers to participation
  • Help more young people enjoy the benefits of being active
