Shorelines Exhibition by Roddy McKenzie

An oil painting of a seascape, depicting a turbulent ocean with crashing waves in shades of blue, white, and deep green. The thick, textured brushstrokes give a sense of movement and energy to the water. Roddy was born in Prestwick. He studied at Glasgow School of Art from 1978 to 1982 emerging with a BA (Hons) degree in fine art. Although his initial interest was in painting and drawing, he studied sculpture at Glasgow, returning to painting full time on graduation.
