Stage 1 – Swimming Crash Course is a fun and supportive way to help young children build confidence in the water, following the Scottish Swimming National Framework. Designed as an introduction to water, sessions focus on developing core skills such as water confidence, movement, balance, and basic aquatic safety through play-based learning. Children will be encouraged to explore the water at their own pace in a safe, engaging environment, with experienced instructors guiding them through key early stage outcomes. This short, intensive course is perfect for giving your child a boost in their swimming journey while building essential skills and confidence in and around the water.
Stage 2 – Swimming Crash Course is designed to build on existing confidence and develop stronger, more controlled swimming techniques in line with the Scottish Swimming National Framework. Aimed at swimmers who are comfortable in the water, sessions focus on improving body position, coordination, and propulsion across key skills, helping children progress towards more efficient movement and early stroke development. Delivered in a fun and supportive environment, this intensive course gives swimmers the opportunity to refine their technique, build endurance, and gain confidence as they move through the next stage of their aquatic journey. This class is perfect if you are in Skills 1 or Skills 2 Learn 2 Swim programme.
