The traditional Holy Fair event continues again this year with a new name – Summer fAYRe with Armed Forces and Pipes in the Park.

The event takes place on Saturday 20 June 2026 starting at 11.45am with the official Flag Raising Ceremony followed by an afternoon full of exciting and engaging activities and attractions.

This FREE family event will continue to have all your favourite elements appearing on the day with a few new additional attractions to look out for.

Standing with Giants - Field of Heroes

We are delighted to be bringing the Standing with Giants – Field of Heroes back to Ayr as part of our Armed Forces display.  This stunning visual and audio installation will have over 30 silhouettes on display, each with its own QR code which will link to their personal story.

Food & Drink Village

Whether it’s an ice-cream, burger or a drink you fancy, be sure to visit the Food & Drink Village.

Market Stalls

There will be a range of both charities raising funds and local traders selling hand-made crafts on offer in the Market Stall area with something for everyone to enjoy.

Inflatables

Bounce, slide, and jump into the fun on our Inflatables! Perfect for all ages, these action-packed areas are filled with giant, colourful inflatable attractions that guarantee excitement.

Funfair

Whether you’re in it for the thrill, the games, or just soaking up the event vibes, the funfair is a place where laughter, joy, and shared memories come to life with a mixture of rides to suit all ages.

If you are planning to travel to this year’s event by car, there will be limited on street parking available as well as numerous car parks all only a short walk from the Low Green:
