The Bothy at Minuntion (sleeps 2) is a romantic bolthole beside the River Stinchar near the village of Barr in South Ayrshire.
This Scandinavian-inspired bright, cosy, and modern house is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Walk straight from the door to wonderful views or explore the many miles of countryside and attractions in South Ayrshire and Galloway.
On the ground floor is a large well-equipped kitchen with access to the garden and a decked veranda where there is an outdoor dining table and chairs and BBQ.
There is a utility and drying room with a sink and washing machine and a separate bathroom with a large walk-in shower and toilet.
Also on the ground floor is the master bedroom. It has a Super King size bed with a mattress topper, white company bedding, sheepskin rugs, and wonderful views of the valley and hills beyond. Its ensuite bathroom with a bath has bathrobes, fluffy towels, and locally-made toiletries.
Discover the romance of this bolthole in the bright and cosy upstairs sitting room with wonderful views of the river and the hills beyond. Read, play board games, watch a film, listen to vinyl records, and bask in the warmth of a wood-burning stove.
It is light and comfortable with a super king-sized bed, sheepskin rugs, and bookshelves full of nature writing. There are two bathrooms with dressing gowns and natural, handmade soaps. It has a well-equipped kitchen which will thrill any cook and a breakfast hamper of local produce can also be arranged.
