Alton Albany Farm Bed and Breakfast is a very comfortable and spacious riverside Georgian farmhouse in the picturesque Stinchar Valley of South Ayrshire.
We are a short walk from the pretty conservation village of Barr with it’s public facilities and on the western edge of the Galloway Forest and Dark Sky Park. The Stinchar River runs along the northern edge of the wooded farmhouse grounds whilst the Albany Burn passes by our orchard. We welcome well behaved dogs too and have our own 4 acre field for exercising and also plenty of trails and tracks for longer walks locally. We are only 7 miles from the town of Girvan through the highly scenic Carrick Hills with views to the Firth of Clyde, the islands of Ailsa Craig and Arran and the Mull of Kintyre peninsula.
