The Organist Entertains

The Organist Entertains is back for the 14th season of weekly concerts arranged by the Royal Burgh of Ayr Organist and Ayr Arts Guild.

Each Monday lunchtime between 8th April and 25th November you can hear a skilled organist playing for an hour from 12 noon, and costing only £5.00!

This year there will be 34 different organists who hail from across the UK plus Germany, Italy and Canada.

During April, four concerts will be held in St Nicholas Parish Church, Prestwick, showcasing the fine Norman & Beard pipe organ there: 8th Dr John Kitchen MBE, Edinburgh City Organist; 15th Alan Kitchen, Organist of Wellington Church, Glasgow; 22nd John R Turner, Freelance Organist from Glasgow; and 29th David Hamilton, University of Strathclyde Organist.
