Ayr Town Hall is situated in the heart of the historic seaside town. The category ‘A’ listed building dates back to 1827 and dominates the town centre skyline with its 277ft steeple. Situated on the main bus route and only a short walk to the beach, it is convenient and easily accessible to all.

The venue consists of a Main Hall auditorium with balcony overlooking the superb Lewis Pipe Organ dating back to 1904,  Council Chambers, various Committee Rooms and two marriage suites. The Main Hall can hold up to 711 people, the Council Chambers up to 84 people and the Committee Rooms between 12 to 28 people.

All halls and rooms can be hired and are ideal for:

  • Meetings & conferences
  • Weddings, civil ceremonies & private functions
