Set in a Galician fishing village, this uplifting comedy-drama follows a grieving community trying to heal and look to the future two years after a tragic shipwreck claimed the lives of seven of its nine crew members. To lift their spirits, the villagers decide to revive their rondalla, a traditional folk music group made up of people of all ages playing instruments such as bagpipes and tambourines, led by Andrea, the 18-year-old daughter of the deceased boat captain.
Blending traditional music with modern pop and rock hits, the ensemble prepares to compete in an annual regional contest. But when unexpected revelations about the cause of the shipwreck come to light, their fragile harmony is threatened.
