Free Highlight Talk in the Robertson Room at the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum, Alloway.
George English, Director of family history service, Research Through People, presents Family History And Surnames, bringing Burns’ and your ancestors to life through the social and historical background of the times they lived in. This talk covers what is involved in researching family history and will include information about the origins of surnames, using examples from Ayrshire and other parts of Scotland.
