Straiton Recreational Park is a great spot for families wanting to enjoy outdoor fun, as well as those looking to explore the beautiful countryside surrounding the village.
Located next to a small car park, it’s a good starting point for many walks and trails – stock up first on supplies from the local store or enjoy a rewarding coffee or tasty treat afterwards at the Buck Tearoom.
The play area is well equipped for kids of all ages and has plenty of picnic tables. It’s also the location of one of the 9 sculptures in the Bruce’s Web Interactive Arts And Augmented Reality Trail.
Behind the play area is a full size football pitch.
