Girvan Tourist Information Point & Craft Shop

Girvan Tourist Information and Craft Shop provides information and friendly advice for tourists. Visitors are encouraged to call in for local and regional tourist information and free WIFI.

Girvan Tourist Information and Craft Shop boasts a clear view over to the colourful Girvan Harbour – the starting point for a range of activities including boat trips to the Site of Special Scientific Interest island of Ailsa Craig; Music on the Prom and a range of water sports.

Here you can check out the nearby Ayrshire Coastal Path with stunning coastal views across to Ailsa Craig and the Isle of Arran.

A team of local volunteers, ambassadors for Girvan and South Carrick use local knowledge, digital skills and links to other groups to promote the best of the local area.

Leaflets, maps and brochures are freely available to visitors. Browse local crafts; see captivating footage of the Whithorn Way Pilgrimage route and be inspired by art and photos of our beautiful scenery.

Volunteers are happy to share knowledge on history, genealogy, walking trails, local events and quirky facts about our town!
