Welcome to The Gaiety Theatre, one of Scotland’s oldest theatres and home to many a stage legend who considers our beautifully intimate and traditional auditorium their fave!

Located in the coastal town of Ayr, this small theatre with a big heart continues to entertain and inspire on our stage, in our studio, online and across our communities.

A warm welcome awaits all at our range of drama, comedy, music, dance, opera and special interest shows and of course our much-loved pantomime that takes place each winter.

Stage Door Cafe

For a quality food and drink experience our Stage Door Cafe offers pre-theatre meals, a bar and the most talked about breakfast in town! Join us there soon for interval drinks as we take pleasure in welcoming you to The Gaiety!
